As our Salary Bookkeeper, you are responsible for the overall handling of salary and payroll related tasks.

We have over the past 15 years developed from a 10 to a 700 people organization in New York, London, Barcelona, Shenzhen and Copenhagen. Our Salary Bookkeeper in Copenhagen is planning to retire why we are looking for her replacement. There will be an overlap of at least 3 months and you will have an assistant to support on monthly input. As Salary Bookkeeper you will report to our Director of Finance.

Primary areas of responsibility:

As Salary Bookkeeper, you are responsible for the overall handling of salary and payroll related tasks. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Monthly payroll runs
  • Creation of new people/profiles from the HR system Sympa to in the system CMAP
  • Handling of all monthly granted vacation, floating vacation days etc.
  • Support HR in relation to handling of Maternity leaves etc.
  • Reimbursement of sick- and maternity leave
  • Balance and handling of Study Money, pension, gross salary scheme and aconto salary
  • Ad hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience working with Lessor
  • Is proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English - spoken and written
  • Has previous experience with Int. accounting/financial controlling from an international organization
  • Can handle many simultaneous deadlines and tasks
  • Must work systematic and structured
  • Enjoys a busy and creative environment with many personalities.
