Want to join one of the leading architectural firms in the world while gaining commercial experience. BIG Copenhagen is now seeking an ambitious Junior project controller to our Project Controlling Team.

In the team we are responsible for supporting our project teams in managing and tracking project budgets and timelines. In addition, we support the Management group in defining and implementing commercial strategies on the individual projects.

As our new Junior Project Controller, you will assist the Project Controlling team in a wide variety of both important routine tasks and complex analysis. To succeed it is important that you thrive in fast changing environment while still being able to stay organized and have the overview. Being a part of the Project Controlling team, you will gain a strong business understanding as our work often crosses several different business units.

Primary areas of responsibility

  • Continually monitor and evaluate each step of a project to ensure that budgets, timeline and project info are updated in CMAP
  • Responsible for invoicing projects for contractual work and reimbursables
  • Responsible for invoicing during monthly closing
  • Responsible for claiming outstanding payments and updating the dunning report
  • Responsible for Budget Sign off Sheets
  • Planning and executing monthly project budget meetings
  • Supporting the Project Managers in general commercial matters
  • Responsible for the employees’ time registration
  • Support reporting in relation to monthly closing
  • Various ad hoc analyses
  • Assisting the Head of Project Controlling

We are seeking a person who:

  • Hold minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance
  • Fluent in spoken/written Danish and English
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially highly proficient in Excel
  • Enjoys a busy and creative environment with many personalities
  • Is comfortable with fast-paced decisions and rapidly changing environments
  • A calm demeanor and an eye for details, even under pressure
  • A proactive and organized mindset - both big-picture-savvy and detail-oriented

The position is full-time. Deadline is end January and we run interviews on an ongoing basis.
