The position as Host/Hostess in our Copenhagen office has recently become vacant and we are now looking to fill this position.  As Host/Hostess you will report to our Office & Community Manager

The position as Host/Hostess in our Copenhagen office has recently become vacant and we are now looking to fill this position.  As Host/Hostess you will report to our Office & Community Manager.

You will be the first person to greet all employees, clients and guests in the front desk, making sure that all your colleagues have a great start to their day, and that all clients and guests have a nice stay at the office.

Primary areas of responsibility

As Host/Hostess, you are overall responsible for all tasks related to the reception, meeting rooms, client meetings etc. on a daily basis, from 8.30-16.30 Monday to Friday. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Welcoming guests and showing them to their meeting rooms arranged by all BIGsters for their clients or internal
  • Preparing catering for internal meetings
  • Booking taxis, ordering refreshments or material for staff and guests once it’s needed
  • Handling emails & phone calls
  • Handling Courier (all outgoing)
  • Making sure office looks nice and presentable
  • Daily coordination with Kitchen Manager
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education
  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience required, preferably at reception, concierge, customer service or similar
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in spoken/written English
  • Proactive, organized, structured and detail-oriented
  • Focused and enjoys multi-tasking that often vary in scale and scope
  • Flexible, fun and enjoys a busy and creative environment
  • Strong team player, collaborative and resilient, with a good sense of humor
